So it finally snowed. Of course it managed to do this while I was out buying stuff for work and I got stuck in town until the plows came. I opted to go to the movies to wait out the storm and saw Children of Men. Left me fucking speechless. When I got home my mother said I looked like I had just seen someone murdered and that's pretty much what

ok, 3 things:

1. i am so happy that you are enjoying the bargaining bliss that is ross. my shoe collection has really blossomed thanks to that place.

2. what the hell are you talking about - snowstorm my ass! i mean, yes it snowed, but i hardly think it was enough to have to wait for a plow. admit it. you just wanted to watch a movie.

3. amen to the nasty surveys on bathroom walls. what the hell "punk" bar?

2.) Okay it wasn't a blizzard, but thanks to no pre-treating the roads were awful. I did a 180 at my intersection. I should have said I was waiting for the salt trucks. That better? :P

Well, it's not even that it's deemed cool. It's just how cloying and misrepresentative it is of what a "punk bar" is. I mean, if it's a punk bar, no one will ever call it that. I dunno. I think part of it is that I also enjoyed Mars a lot and had a number of very fun nights there with friends/family. Stupid Harrisburg.

my least favorite part of harrisburg is the desperation. bad shit succeeds here because expectations are so low and kids (and adults) are so desperate that they'll cling to and support anything.

ps children of men killed me as much if not more the second time i saw it.
