Dreaming of taco-flavored kisses....

I like Red Stripe. Thank you Jamaica, once again, for your excellence. But really, Jamaica is a spunky little guy, like Mini Me; it's got all this coolness to it in such a little package. In saying this, however, I'm not trying to discount the pain and suffering endured by a great deal of Jamaicans in such places as Trenchtown. Instead, I'm commending those who have been able to channel the frustration and despair such events have caused into the awesomeness that is reggae and the peace-loving nature of the Rastafarians, who I'm pretty sure aren't Jamaican in origin but own Jamaica a lot in the widespread knowledge of their faith. Too bad bobsled racing isn't big there...=D

Tomorrow is Organizational Day, better known as Mandatory Fun. See, the Army has it their collective asses that every once in a while you must force the Soldiers into some recreational activities, to promote relaxation and camaraderie. To be honest, that reasoning is absolute BS. As an individual, I'm perfectly capable of forming the bonds necessary in war without playing Flag Football with a bunch of guys who are not looking to bond but instead looking to be gloryhounds. But hey, it's my place of duty so I can't fight it...I just wish the Army had better approaches.

Ah, I love having a mild buzz to go to sleep with. I'm glad to know my fears of becoming dependent upon alcoholic drinks to have fun isn't a concern I have, meaning I'm still the same ol' C.J., for better or worse, except that I now allow myself to experience what so many kids I have known for a long time were anxious to. Honestly, I still detest the flavor of alcohol, it really is vile. However, when in small doses, such as in beer, it's not too bad with the rest of the flavor. That being said, I do wish I could take some votive shots of gin(?) with Diet Pepsi as a chaser again. That worked well for me, even if it didn't help stuff in the long run.

Well, it's indeed time to sleep as I have to be over behind the company at 5:45am. Çiao, me maties!
