My first bottle of Cambienne. More will be coming-including my birthday bottle of the Cold Snap.

Cambienne (Spring Equinox edition)

In bottle: BOTTLED SPRING!!! This smells like spring-I smell rain, grass, blossoms and earth! SPRING!
On skin: oh, this is beautiful. It really does smell like liquid springtime. So fresh, so natural-I smell soil soaked by spring showers. I smell freshly cut grass (ohh, I love that scent!). I smell hints of blossoms and pollen. The scents of trees and mist and rain and buds and freshly growing plant shoots, hints of daffodils and daisies. There's a slight sweetness to it as well, I'm thinking cherry blossom, and it's a pink blossom scent. I also smell yellow pollen, in fact, it reminds me of mimosa. Over time I get hints of buttercups and daffodils popping up, more yellow flowers, and also camellias. It's a very wet scent, brings to mind diamond like raindrops hanging from buds and petals. The scent becomes cleaner and a little soapy, like clean linen, at drydown but not in a bad way, this is now like laundry drying in a spring breeze, and I smell lots of daffodils and crushed stems too. This is so beautiful! I'm floored really, by how realistic this smells in the first hour or so. It's like I've just gone to the park and I'm breathing in cool, wet spring air filled with the aromas of grass, blossoms and soil. Stunning. I'm amazed at how the natural scents of spring can be made into perfume, it really is a magical fragrance. I can't wait to get more as the year progresses.
