Title: Teach me
Pairing: Sehun/Yixing
Rating: PG
Length: 1,280 words
Summary: They squirm around to be further from each other (but really closer to each other). Fluff and a bit of angst
Note - Happy (belated) birthday Bahar (
jongintuitive)! I know your birthday was last Friday and I sort of hinted I would gift this by then but, ta-dah it’s here. I’m sorry ;; I hope you like this, lovely.
The wifi in this hotel is hellishly slow and on top of that, the data allowance for each member is tiny. Sehun has long given up scrolling through the entries for the mcm competition. (Although he did see a pretty girl named Bahar, who he should remember to show to Jongin tomorrow.)
[Sehun]: Yixing
[Sehun]: Yixing
[Sehun]: Yixing
"Sehun stop," Yixing says, biting down on his cheek as he looks down at his phone. He ignores the sound and box notifying Sehun's messages, trying to focus on picking out a photo to post.
Sehun just pokes his tongue out at Yixing's face. It's not like he's looking at him anyway.
Stupid.
[Sehun]: Yixing
[Sehun]: Yixing yixing yixing
[Sehun]: Yixing yixing yixing hyung
Yixing's finger touches the notification box which suddenly popped up instead of the perfect photo he was saving for this date.
[Yixing]: I am going to block you
[Sehun]: Yixing hyung, let's go out to eat
[Sehun]: Let's go to the movies
[Sehun]: Hyuuuuuung
[Yixing]: Are you really going to be like this?
"Sehun," Yixing whines. "You're eating up all my hotel wifi."
"So?”
He places his phone on the couch, giving up on trying to make an instagram update about the new shirts he received from fans. Except all he's thinking about is posting the photo he took of Sehun's stomach before their debut and commenting "the most annoying person you will ever meet". He had taken it because of Sehun's request that he needed to have a comparison before he had abs and would be the next Arnold Schwarzenegger when they finally had their first stage. (It's been almost three years and Sehun has yet to look anywhere like the man. He looks more like a scrawny boy with muscled arms and an unusually round butt).
He kicks Sehun's tummy with the tips of his toes and makes a move to injure him again but Sehun grabs his rainbow covered foot with his right hand.
"Hyung," Sehun tilting his head and throwing a smile his way.
"Why are you like this?" Yixing asks, tsking at Sehun.
"I'm like this because it is almost the time we go back to our dorms," Sehun pouts.
"We still have until tomorrow morning, Sehun," Yixing says, rolling his head on his shoulders. The ache from this morning's performance was still ebbing, but Yixing anticipated for the medication to kick in soon. "What's up?"
"We haven't even went on a date together even though you promised this morning," Sehun scrunches his eyebrows near each other. He tickles the base of Yixing's feet, feeling wronged by his hyung ignoring his request.
Yixing tries to squirm his way out of Sehun's hold, thrashing around in his lap. He kicks around but his legs soon turn powerless and jelly-like from the harsher tickling from Sehun's fingers. Yixing lets out loud peals of laughter, the sounds echoing in the empty living room. Yixing tries to punch Sehun's chest, but it only comes as a lame slap as he guffaws.
"Stop," Yixing says, weakly. "I give up, I give up."
Sehun stops his attack on his poor, poor, sensitive feet.
"Fine," Sehun says, in his authoritative voice. "But you can't give up on our promise."
Yixing grumbles as he wiggles his way up to the back of the couch.
"Where do you want to go?" Yixing asks Sehun, leaning his chin on his palm.
"I don't know," Sehun says. "Where do you want to go?"
"Anywhere with you," Yixing sends a hearteu his way.
Sehun purses his lips at the gross gesture. He slowly makes his way to climb along the couch, and lies on Yixing's body. He snuggles his head into the gap of Yixing's neck and lets out a breath.
"I'll walk out the door and never come back if you tell me something that gross again," Sehun says.
"You said something like that before," Yixing mumbles. His eyes are beginning to feel heavy with the warm weight of Sehun pressing down on him. Similar to the thick blankets his mum brings out in the winter time at home. "You're still here though."
"I didn't do that..." Sehun's words die down as he suddenly remembers his big outburst last week. Yixing smiles at the dawning on his face.
"Why do you fight it so much?" Yixing asks softly.
"I don't fight anything," Sehun says, confused. "I'm here in bed right now, cuddling with you."
"I mean, fight with the words I say," Yixing laughs. "They're the truth. Just like how your eyes shine as bright as the stars and the moon, and illuminate my skies."
"Who wouldn't want to smack you when hearing those words?" Sehun groans, his head thumping down on Yixing's neck.
"It's not like I care about what everyone else thinks anyway," Yixing smiles, looking into Sehun's eyes earnestly. He raises his hand, and rubs the small hairs at the base of Sehun's neck.
"It's just-just what am I meant to do?" Sehun stutters. "Do when I'm with you, near you?"
"What do you mean?" Yixing asks.
"You know all these things that I don't. You always say all these gross things so easily and you even know what to do when we're together," Sehun says, tugging on his lower lip. "I don't have the same experience as you do with other people."
"What are you talking about now?" Yixing says. The sleepiness had drained out of him and now entered alertness at the sigh from Sehun's lips.
"Even now after I'm holding you down, I don't know what sort of things to do together," Sehun says, frustrated.
A brief silence envelops them as Yixing's arms come around to hold Sehun closer to him.
"You're wrong," Yixing says in Sehun's ear. "Those gross things which come easily from me? They're phrases I picked up when I was learning korean through those dramas on television, which I've only twisted a bit to match with you. Basically, think of me as the ideal flower boy."
Sehun snorts and smacks Yixing's cheek lightly. He looks up from his hidden gaze, and now rests his chin on Yixing's chest to stare at him.
"The experience part? Just remember that I've lived on this earth for three more years than you, so that's where that's gathered," Yixing's eyes sparkle, craning his neck to kiss Sehun's forehead.
"But even though I've lived that extra amount of years, I'm on your level about not knowing what to do all the time," Yixing continues. "You say that you don't know what to do together, but you're making plans when you ask me to go out to eat or go ride our bicycles along the river at night."
"Every minute we share together and the moments that come is us building our 'together'," Yixing smiles brightly. "We just don't realise it sometimes."
Sehun tastes the metallic of blood as he licks his bottom lip he worried with his teeth. Sehun smiles back to Yixing and raises himself up off the couch. He looks down at the figure laying across the couch and holds out his hands.
Yixing's hands meet his halfway and lets himself get pulled up against Sehun's body.
"Let's go to sleep, hyung," Sehun says, looking in his eyes. "Don't think that I don't notice you making an ugly face every time you move your right arm."
Yixing pecks him on the cheek and only smiles cheekily up in response.
Sehun holds Yixing's left hand in his right, leading him to their room. As he walks down the corridors and opens the door, Sehun whispers, "I hope you teach me to realise it all the time."
