Today something wonderful happened.
I was at my computer and had plugged my mobile phone into the cord sitting on the table to recharge when I noticed the cord right next to it for recharging the Eeepc. This conveniently reminded me that it was flat after today's usage and I thought "Dang, I'll have to go get it," when it just so happened that I had come back from uni without bothering to put my backpack in my room so it was right there under the table! During this excitement I had picked up the Eeepc cord plug but now I wasn't able to put it back down again without the weight of the cord pulling it off the table. I couldn't simultaneously hold the cord above the table and get my Eeepc from my bag without exerting more than my current effort threshold so I was forced to let it drop when suddenly I noticed the stickytape dispenser RIGHT NEXT TO THE CORD! It was a simple matter of lightly pressing the cord onto the adhesive side of the stickytape on the extended bit that comes before the metal teeth to hold it there. Now I was free to go grab the Eeepc and bring it up to be connected to the cord, this convenience of item location made me happy.
BUT THEN...
Then I came to the realisation that had I let the cord drop it wouldn't've mattered because I was going under the table to retrieve the Eeepc in the first place! The only difference would be where the connection took place, there would be no difference in effort expenditure on my part at all!
This win win scenario that had just occurred made today the happiest day of my life. (:
