Im trying to develop a magic deck of mine but im totally useless at making decks.  I tend to focus on the theme of the deck rather than how it will actually work and how I plan to use the cards to win.

My ‘Zombie Headache’ deck is ok, as its quite easy to swarm the opponent with buff zombies and force him to lose life with a couple of Migraines and Brain Rots.

The deck im having trouble with is ‘Brain Freeze’, a mono-blue milling deck focussing heavily on cards that rapidly drain his deck of cards and freeze any monsters he has out with ‘Wall of Frost’ and a couple of ‘Frozen Solids’.  A couple of ‘Cancel’s and other counterspells help to block any spells he might cast.

However the deck is very creature light, and without any form of damage the only way I can win is by milling his deck down so he has no cards to draw.  Essentially this means I have to get rid of 60 cards instead of 20 life.  Against a very fast deck, I wont stand a chance, especially if they can get over my wall of frost with flyers, or manage to block my defence cards (Frozen Solid etc).

Why don’t I pick a hobby that’s easier on my old noggin?
