Whilst on the search for dice to act as counters in Magic, Graham of the Grinning Demon informed me that there was another place in town that might do them; the new wargames shop called 'No Mans Land'.

Aparrently, this independant shop was started by a small group of gamers who were dissatisfied with Games Workshops lack of variety and space and thet their clientelle were all 12 years old.  They stock all the things Graham doesnt stock (and vice versa) plus they stock all the things that Games workshop sell and more at a cheaper price!

The shop is fairly big, plus has loads of tables for hire, painting tables and gaming rooms.  It has a real 'lived in' feel, and the counter is covered with peices in various stages of completion, paintbrushes, pliers, paint stained pots, bits of wire, cans of coke and dog treats.  The dog in question is a beautiful white and tan staffy that was busy sunning itself next to a heater after snuffleing me when I walked in.

The guy behind the counter was well out of it (either asleep, hung over, ill or stoned.  Couldnt tell) but was really handsome and sexy.   REALLY.  The rest of the guys hanging about were pretty hot too.  The screaming upstairs told me that the gaming tables were busy, but im not sure how long a place like this can keep going for.

Even so, I might start taking up painting war gaming figures again...

And I got my dice. £4.00 for a small box of 12.
