Without a single word or even a glance in her direction, her husband got up from the couch during the commercial break and finally took out the trash.

Selina inhaled deeply, shook her head, and muttered to herself, "I should have listened to my mother and married Harvey Dent."

That's the first thing popped into my head, but because it was so horrible, lol, I gave it another try...

Bruce Wayne was bored with the monotony of his life and the endless parade of money, women, and fundraisers thinking he could write a book, Philandering Philanthropist, and make it a best-seller chock-full of explicit details he possessed concerning married and single socialites alike when he caught sight of a stunning brunette he had never seen before walking into the banquet room

Alfred quit because Bruce & Selina couldn't get along, fought all the time, always putting him in the middle, so he left and turned to a life of crime! dun dun dun!
