in the past i may have mentioned our quebecois neighbours. my impression of them up to this point is that they were pretty awesome, since they had developed the habit of bringing us free hash and once a big bag of weed for us to bake with. impressed? hells yeah. happy? you know it!
seems like it's all gone sour.
about a month ago my housemate nick sold them one of his boats (yes, that's plural). they had it for about three or four weeks before they returned it to him since they couldn't afford it. nick, swell chap that he is, agreed to take it back and just put it back up for sale. the other night some guy is coming to take a look at it and nick sets up some lights so he can see it. nick then finds that not only were they pretty rough with the boat (scuff marks on the side and some broken lights) but they also didn't bother to clean it up from the dozen or so times they used it so the thing was apparently full of cans and used condoms. you heard/read that right - those dirty frenchmen left USED condoms in it when they returned it. and not just one or two apparently there was quite a few (although when it comes to some stranger's used condoms in your property any at all is really too many).
oh, and when they brought it back they didn't pull the drains OR put the tarp on it properly so it now has some nasty water in it from the rain we had.
nick may never trust a quebecois again.
