friday night
this weekend was one of those amazing weekends. Most of it anyway.
Friday I was trying to decide if I was going to the Brother show or if I wanted to go to Denton and saw hello to my friends there and wish Tim a happy birthday. I went with the latter.
I went to Lou's and stood there bored for sometime. No one would pick up their phone and I contemplated leaving to go see the midnight movie [which was bottle rocket by the bye]. I ran into Allen and then sitting with him I saw a face across the bar that saw me as well. It was no other than one of the Lange Brothers. I sat beside him and caught up on our experiences since our last visit which is/was nearly a year ago. Wow...it has been that long.
Walking down the street I ran into Jeff and David. They looked good as usual. Those two just look good, I swear...I want to be like that.
I walked back to Lou's and no other than C.C.B. do I see. He and I talk about our lost time and our past weeks. As we approach Lou's I lay my eyes on a face I have not seen in eight months and I am nearly in tears because I have missed him so. It was A!!! The strange thing is that he knows C.C.B. Well actually they work together now. I don't know what to think of that. We attempt to catch up but that is not that easy while sitting there.
Kevin and all his buds are there so we talk hair and give some advice and attempt to get them all in the salon so I can make them look fantabulous.
Tim shows up and I go and wish him one hell of a birthday. I meet his dad and then Tim and I chat about what he would like to do with his hair next. I run off to catch A again because I offered to give him a ride to his truck so he does not have to walk six blocks.
The rest of the night was simple and usual Lou stuff: Eric with Q, Opie, funny quirky things...and the strange goodbyes.
I went to my mums and crashed on the couch...then everything fell for awhile
I received a phone call around five thirty a.m. from the police...my uncle was in the hospital and they were trying to get ahold of me so I could go back home and get everything together....
