There's one more angel in Heaven
Yesterday night everything finally sunk in. There was one picture of my Uncle Jim that I thought of everytime I pictured him. And so I went through my boxs of photographs to find it, taking out all the pictures of Uncle Jim I could find. And seeing his face, his smiling face, I could just hear his voice. Then I found the picture I was looking for. When I was 4 years old, my Uncle Jim had cancer, and the doctors told him he had two years to live. But he beat the odds and ended up living 13 more years. The picture of him I have is of him, with his bald head, and me sitting on his lap with my hands over his eyes and this big smile on my face. While looking through some other pictures, I found one of when he was at our house for Thanksgiving. He was standing next to his daughter Julie Ann. And I was in front of them, about 3 or 4 years old, not looking at the camera, but looking up at him instead.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made me feel loved yesterday. I went through a period of time where I felt so alone, like nobody cared about me at all. And with that feeling, that's when it finally started to sink in, and I got that pit in my stomach. Thanks especially to Jessie, who went shopping with my yesterday and made me smile. Jessie just has this way about her to make me smile over the most random things, like with our whole question of the day, "Why do they say clean as a whistle--whistles aren't clean! They should say 'Clean as hand sanitizer!" LMAO. Or when Jessie held up a pair of screw earrings, saying "Wanna screw?" LOL. I love you Jessie, LOL. Also a big huge thanks to Shaun Kosnik. When I told him about what happened, he told me to call him at the funeral home if I needed someone to talk to. He told me that he'd always be here for me, always ready to listen. It's nice to know that people are here for me. And I know I'll need that with my 5 hours of sitting in a funeral home..2-5, 7-9, to know that people are here for me. Also, a big huge thanks to Lizzie who wrote a song about me: Monica sweet monica... do a little dance dance dance dance don't worry your pretty head just dance dance dance! That made me feel so loved! Lizzie--u always know how to make me smile!
