Poor PC user!! You should set your AV to check every day. And get AdAware, too (free). Nick recommends AVG Anti Virus (it's free).

Sorry you lost your stuff, sweets! I've got lots of emails, phone # and addresses if you need them.

I had a hard drive failure last week but thanks to lots of backups and catching it by the skin of our teeth, I was back up in a coupla days. Permissions were a bit askew but other than that, no data was lost.

luckily when it started to go down, I did a massive backup dump (tee hee). saved the most important stuff like pics that could not be replaced. even that was down to the wire... it took about 16 minutes to do a backup disc of 4.5 gigs and my system was crashing every 20 minutes on the clock.

like I said, just under the wire.

by the way, how is the sexy couple these days? I would say which one is sexier but you know I hate to play favorites...

(Its you :P)

((well, sometimes Nick.))

damn my flipflopping...

It was a rather serious set of spyware infections (that were summarily dealt with). There were some mean ones -- one flavor of malware or another would disable important OS services, such as BITS and automatic updates ( ... )
