cool stuff indeed
For those who really care (and that is a sizable group of you) I was trolling through my newsgroup downloads and discovered something called rifftrax. I accidentally downloaded "I am legend" and thought it was the movie but it was this odd because the movie was there but someone had put another vocal track over the original (you could hear both). I was understandably pissed when I realized that the voice I was hearing was that of my old MST3K friends. Apparently Mike Nelson and crew got together with other funny people and started to do vocal overdubs on real movies... big movies... movies you would want to watch.
I already downloaded "I am Legend" and "Fantastic 4:Rise of the Silver Surfer" the latter of which was incredible while the first was kind of weak (mostly due to the fact that there is little dialog for them to riff off of. Going to download "Raiders of the lost ark" later this weekend and see what that has to offer.
Still, no matter what, I love the fact that Mike and the bots are still alive out there.
