Fun day in D.C.

Well that was an interesting two days.  The clubbing was fantastic if not expensive.  DJ Tiesto was 'throwin mad beats' from the booth.  The women were lovely.  Drinks were strong.  A fratboy asked me if I knew were the pills were to be found.  Exploded with drunken laughter when I saw a man pissing on another man's car just because it was there.  Closed out the club (something I have not done in a long time).  Got lost on the way home.  Finally crashed for about 5:00 in the morning.

Got up for about 10:30 and left to go touristy.  Visited the Smithsonian air and space museum.  Very cool.  It had an exhibit of American history that included the original Kermit the frog, The Scarecrow and ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz", Lincoln's tophat and much more.  Then took a stroll down the causeway to the (too early for brain to be working) big pointy memorial thing.  Had fun with a live salsa and jazz show.  visited a sculpture garden.  Finally found our way to Arlington Cemetery for the  changing of the guard... damn poignant that.  Took tons of pics up to that point but found myself thinking it would be disrespectful to use my noisy ass camera for such an event to just watched it and took it all in.

Got back to the hotel in time for hot wings chicken pizza (yummy) and the Emmy awards show.  Good day indeed.
