great night

Last night a few of us went to aynsleys farm. aynz is my best friends girlfriend and she lives on a farm made for special needs children. its an amazing farm full of animals and fun stuff! so we had a potluck and were going to play some poker but instead i convinced everyone to have a bon fire out side. so we get the wood and after about 1/2 hour i get the fire going and we all sit around and eat marshmellows and ayns and her roommate and best friend start singing campfire songs and while we were sitting around taking pictures it started to get cold and lightning lit up the sky. it hadnt started to rain yet but you could tell it was getting close. so everyone decided that it was time to go back inside. if you really know me you know that i like being outside in rainy weather and any kind of weather like that, so i decided to sit by the fire and wait until i could no longer handle the weather. it started to lightly spit as the thunder rolled in and everyone walked back to the house, taking all the man made light we had. i sat and put a few more logs onto the fire and sat back and relaxed. the raindrops slowly started to swell as they fell from the sky and i sat and felt every last one of them drop down and land on my exposed skin and roll down my skin finding a piece of clothing to soak up in. slowly the rain became thicker and the fire sizzled as the drops landed on the hot coals and i still sat on the bench face up in the sky, smiling. the rain drops fell and rolled and i smiled and said thank you, thank you to mother earth for letting me sit there and enjoy what she had to offer. it was pitch black and the only thing i could see was the flickering of the flames in the fire pit and the occasional stike of lightning flashing the sky lighting up the earth around it. and then the rain started to come down in great big drops and i stood up with the biggest smile on my face knowing that a great storm was rolling in and was going to surround me and shake the earth under my feet. the lightning came closer and the thunder shook the earth beneath my feet shaking me as it got close and surrounded me. by this time the fire had gone down to a sizzle as the rain came down in sheets around me wrapping me in its beauty and soaking me in its power, i slowly started to walk back to the house at this point knowing that the fire had met its match and wasnt going to flame up or burn anything down. so i got back to the house and dropped off my shirt and emptied my pockets and left anything i didnt need before heading back outside, i danced in the rain and jumped in the puddles and smiled at how powerful and beautiful the night was. the ground was flooding and the rain continued to pour down not looking to stop anytime soon. then the hail came crashing down, this wasnt as fun as the rain because well it is little pieces of ice pelting from the sky and hittig me. it stung but was worth the pain of being outside and being in the weather. everyone was snug inside watching tv and talking while i was out side playing like the child of the earth i am. all i could do was look up into the sky and say thank you. thank you for letting me be here, for being alive, for being healthy, for being able to experience something to magical and beautiful to me even if everyone who saw me thought i was weird and had problems. thanks you for giving me a heart beat and 2 legs to dance in the rain, jump in the puddles, skin that could feel every rain drop however small they were, that stung when the hail pelted at my skin. thank you for the electricity that surrounded me, the light show that was shown just for me (sorry to those of you who got stuck in it lol) the sound of the thunder rumbling across the sky shaking everything. it was amazing!
it totally made me miss the weather, and appreciate what this world has to offer us! i love dancing in storms like that and cant wait until i get to do it again!
ps if anyone wants to join me next time let me know its amazing and one of the best experiences you could imagine to have!
as of right now im being kicked off the computer so i cant finish this entry but i will as soon as i get the chance!
