Julius, seated in the study of his home in Naples, writes in his journal. In accordance with Belmont tradition, he's writing it by hand in a blank book.
Since the death of Graham Jones and Soma's decision to abandon his powers, my life has been dull. I've periodically been asked to accompany Yoko into the field, to deal with what small supernatural threats the world holds, but I've been content to work in my home (my grandmother would, no doubt, have called this "puttering about"), read a bit, and generally allow myself to relax.
That may not last. Soma Cruz was recently attacked in Japan by a mad priestess named Celia Fortner, who seems to command creatures similar to those that have traditionally served Dracula. Perhaps she has one of the Forgemasters working for her, or perhaps there are other powers of chaos loose in the world.
Yoko believes we may be called in to deal with her in short order. Fortner's sect operates out of an old castle in western Germany, one of the many old citadels that's more often a hotel or museum.
On the positive side, "Genya Arikado"--better known as Adrian Tepes, better known as Alucard--seems to have taken an interest in this affair. This will give me the chance to inquire after his associations with Sonia Belmont.
