Transgression
It would appear that Simon Belmont, at the stage of his life where he found the Nexus, is slightly brain-damaged.
Transgression is a rather nice tavern with, by all reports, some unpleasant clientele. I see no need to visit it without a clear purpose in mind.
It was odd, though. I've just gotten off the telephone with London, and according to the guardians, the Countess Bathory's ashes are still warded and under heavy guard. There hasn't been an attempt at resurrection since the 1950s. If the woman I saw in Transgression was her, it may be a "her" from another plane, much like the Dracula I've been speaking with.
Chilling thought, really, but I see no reason to go looking for fights on other worlds than mine. One must draw the line somewhere.
That said, there's a neophyte hunter lurking in both the Nexus and Transgressions. Charming girl; well-educated, seems to be well-trained, common sense of a brick. I may have to keep an eye on her.
