Screened to Varia
So, yeah, spoke with Hibari Kyouya last weekend. Had to follow up on some of what he said, but most of it seems to check out, so here's a basic report.
So. He claims he knows just who attacked him, and apparently also the circumstances regarding Suzuki Adelheid's attack. He also insists that the one responsible for both attacks is a certain Wakahisa-san, known for being a yakuza boss. Also Hibari's father, as it turns out. The two don't exactly seem to be close.
However, this information appears to be useless. Don Cavallone declared that hunting down the culprit is strictly Cavallone business, and Hibari himself denied any right for Vongola or Varia to continue pursuing the case, saying he'd rather have Cavallone fighting for him. Maa~ I was a bit surprised, but what can you do. I don't exactly have the authority to start arguing with an allied Don in a matter concerning an assassination attempt on his fiancé.
Reminds me, Hibari announced he's not Vongola and never has been. Just thought to mention that.
