Chapter 1 Sungmin sighed as she stood outside her cousin’s apartment about to call her to answer the stupid door, when finally she was let inside.
“You text spam me all day telling me to come over but I didn’t think you were even gonna let me in” the smaller girl sighed again as she pulled off her coat and shoes and went to fall onto her cousin’s sofa.
“Well excuse me for trying to wash my shirt” The older woman huffed at her cousin.
“You were washing?? That’s a surprise” Sungmin laughed, getting a face full of pillow in return.
“I am trying to get a stupid coffee stain out of my shirt, because some stupid kid threw his cup all over me this morning! Can you believe that?! All I was doing was waiting in line and the brat threw his drink all over me, ruined some of my files and looked up my skirt! AND to top it off the stupid kid didn’t even say sorry!” Heechul got worked up just remembering the incident and Sungmin gawped at her cousin.
“Someone really did that to you?? On purpose? I’m sure he didn’t mean to do it Heenim…” Sungmin sighed. Even though her cousin was a fair bit older than herself, Heechul was still as temperamental as a teenager. The two of them were extremely close, almost sisters, so Sungmin knew Heechul well enough to know that she was probably exaggerating the truth.
“Of course he did it on purpose!” She hissed, “Didn’t you hear the part about looking up my skirt?? Aish I bet he threw his coffee on me to make my shirt see through too, that pervert!” Heechul was practically fuming.
“How old was he..?”
“I don’t know I didn’t ask him did I! He looked about your age though… I don’t know he had some text books so I guess he was your age.” Heechul sighed and rested her hands on her hips.
“Look unnie, I am going shopping later with my friend, do you want me to pick you up some new shirts?” Sungmin offered in a vain hope showering her cousin with gifts would make her feel better. Heechul’s face practically lit up at the thought of it and Sungmin internally sighed and wished for once her cousin would act her age for once.
--
Sungmin bid Heechul farewell and made her way up to the mall to go meet her friend and get the new shirts she had promised her cousin.
“Mimiiii~~” Sungmin sing-songed when she caught sight of the boy.
“Sungminnie” Zhou Mi flung his arms around the smaller girl and rocked her from side to side lovingly, “I hope you don’t mind, but I brought Kyuhunnie along because I couldn’t stand the thought of him locking himself up alone in his room again tonight.”
Sungmin smiled as Kyuhyun scoffed at the pair and started to walk off in hope the sooner they started shopping the sooner they’d be finished. Sungmin and Mi gossiped madly behind him, every now and then the pair would spot something they liked in a store window and drag each other inside, sometimes even forgetting Kyuhyun was there. Eventually after around 3 hours, Mi announced they should start heading home soon because of lectures the next morning.
“Ok but I just need to get one last thing!!” Sungmin exclaimed after almost forgetting about the shirts she promised her cousin. The three of them made their way over to a store where Sungmin finally found some shirts she thought would suit her cousin and made her way to the checkout.
“I have to get these for my cousin, she told me some kid ruined her shirt this morning by chucking coffee all over her” Sungmin sighed, “really I think it was probably an accident, but she seems really convinced he did it on purpose…”
Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi looked at each other, “Wait? Your cousin??”
