i am psyched about the comics. but i am a nerd. i also do not know if i have ever used the word "psyched" before. i love "the body". it's my favorite thing that joss whedon's ever done, with the exception of firefly. the part where anya's talking about juice pretty much makes me tear up every time i watch that episode. speaking of, go borrow firefly right now. it's wicked. the only problem you will have is that you now have to deal with caleb (evil buffy preacher guy) being the boss good guy on firefly. amanda said she had trouble with that. i have mixed feelings about angel; i used to tell matt (when he was borrowing it) to stick with it, that it gets better - but when i finally re-watched it, i realized the point where it "got better" was much later than i had remembered - pretty much season 5 (which was the last one). but season five is really good. ga switched nights and more of our friends got cable; so now they just watch it at other places. and brooke and i sit at home and watch veronica mars on dvd. thanks to bryan. how in the world did people live before tv on dvd? surely they didn't actually *talk* to other people, or go outside, did they?
Damn! You two just made me read the transcript for "The Body," and now I'm crying. Thanks a lot, guys ;) (it's been probably close to 2 years since I last saw that episode. Weird.)
firefly is heads and shoulders better than buffy. and there were only 14 episodes. and a movie. there might be some confusing bits if you just jump into season 5 of angel. but you can probably figure them out, 'cause you're smart. if you have the time to watch all of 'em, you might as well. if not, well i can probably fill you in on who everyone is before season five vs. who they are in season five, because the status quo (and in some cases, the premise) of the show changes at the end of season 4. nerds!

Maybe I'll just see season 5 of Angel, then. Was that on at the same time as the last season of Buffy?
