If you rearrange the letters in my name (not including my middle name, Jean), you get this:

sexy DNA driller

How awesome is that? It's very. It's so. It's so very. It's so very awesome.

(It would make more sense if I were male, but whatever.)

New York was incredible! I love Manhattan. It's the best city I've ever visited! It's so lively and culturally integrated. Times Square is unbelievable. It looks just like Tokyo. Though I've never been to Tokyo.

The best thing about New York -- besides Allison and Catie, that is -- are the vendors. There are vendors everywhere! Food vendors, newspaper vendors, jewelry vendors. It's wonderful. Chicago doesn't have any of those. We used to have food vendors, until Mayor Daley outlawed them due to "sanitary" reasons. Bastard. I mean, there is nothing better than stumbling into your hotel room at 5 in the morning and going, "You know what, I'm kinda hungry," then stumbling back outside and finding someone selling gyros less than a block away. Not only is it convenient and cheap, it gives people of the lower class more opportunities to make money.

In Soho, there were tons of jewelry and art vendors. Ohhhh, how I wanted to buy and buy and buy! I've never seen people sell jewelry on the sidewalks of Chicago. A little art here and there, but rarely. It makes me wonder if Daley outlawed those, too. What an idiot.

Central Park is gorgeous. Rolling hills, lush greens. The only thing I don't like are the hundreds of horse carriages! Cruel. :\

Allison and Catie, my trip to New York would have been so cliche and typically touristy if not for you. Thank you to the nth degree for--among many, many other things--showing me the most perfect view of Manhattan anyone could possibly ever see. I love you very much (more than giant pizzas and impossible-to-see rats, even!) and can't wait to see you again. Hardcore hugs and kisses! xoxoxo
