About Me
Since I've added quite a few new people, I decided to do an 'About Me' post. I'll give you the rundown on the who's who!
Oliver, Leilah and Lennon: These are our children. Oliver is our oldest; he turned 5 October 10th. Leilah is our middle child and she turned 4 in September. Oliver and Leilah are 3 weeks from being a year apart. Lennon is our youngest and he turned 2 back in June. He was born on the Summer Solstice-the longest day of Summer. That was fun. Obviously, my posts consist of motherly things, rants about the kids being turds and tattle tales and the joys of motherhood, of course.
Will: Will and I met back in May of 2007. It happened pretty randomly. I wasn't looking for anyone at the time since my ex-fiance and I had just split up. I was smitten with Will from the very beginning and here we are. We got married on March 21, 2009. I rant about him at times, too. We have our fair share of ups and downs, and I need a place to vent my frustrations.
Bill and Brenda: These are my in-laws. I don't usually talk about them, but I'll include them so you know who I'm talking about. They've been a huge part of the kids' lives and moved to Colorado a few months ago. My FIL's job didn't work out as planned, so they're moving back to Texas! The kids and I are really excited about this. I'm glad to have them back, but it may not be permanent depending on what kind of new job my FIL finds.
Bekah and Jacob (Jake): Bekah and Jake are Will's younger siblings. Bekah is 18 and Jake is 26.
Caroline: Caroline is Jake's wife.
My Dad: I sometimes I write about him. We've been on the outs off and on throughout the years and I'm trying to look past our differences. His family is the typical Southern family, so you can imagine how my liberal opinions/thoughts/ideas are drastically different than him and his family. I love him regardless, but we tend to bump heads a lot. He's a really great dad and has helped me/us out a lot.
Dara: Dara is my little sister. She's 10 years younger than me (different mom). We've become closer as she's gotten older and I love her a lot. She's been through quite a bit and has come a long way.
