Seattle & Hurricanes & Weddings, Oh My!

Wow....its been a while since I have made an actual post on this thing. But then again, I don't usually have new things to report to y'all.

Anyway, it has been almost a month since I went to the most beautiful place I have ever visited. Seattle, Washington. Oh my god, it is sooooooo georegous there. I so want to move there now, instead of Chicago. But if I can find something (job-wise) in Chicago, I guess it's where I'll go. Anyway, I took some pics and here they are:

Other than that, not much else has been going on for me. Im almost at mid-term in this semester. Only 5 more classes after this, so I am looking at a May Graduation. Cool.

My best friend since the 4th grade got engaged. Her wedding is in October and I'm her bridesmaid. Dress shopping was interesting, to say the least.

I found an old friend online. Thought he was lost forever, so its neat we started talking again. Hoping we can meet up sometime.

A friend of mine from work tripped over a box the other night and landed on her belly. She is 7 months preggers and started having contractions. As far as I know the hospital's docs got them under control, for she has been released. So, hopefully she can carry her little girl to full term. If you got some spare well wishes, she and her family could use them.

Also, keep the folk on the Southern Costal Areas and New Orleans in your thoughts. Its going to take them all a long time to get their lives together. You may grumble at the increase in gas price...but imagine if you had lost everything. Your home, place of business, even family members. In the long run the cost of gas (to me) is merely an inconvience, we all could have it so much worse.

My thoughts and well wishes go out to all who were hit by the devistation.
