I'm no critic, but...
So instead of unpacking last night, I went to see the new Star Trek movie.
It was probably the best two hours I have ever spent watching a movie (and not just cause Bill was there<3). Seriously--I wanted to see it of course, but the commercials made it look like a bunch of fighting and explosions. When in reality, there is a script, a plot, a lot of excellent character humor, well placed fight scenes and explosions which managed to be powerful without being disgusting (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU) , and really beautiful spaceships.
(I think I may officially have a thing for spaceships.)
Not to mention a very hot sci-fi kiss.
It was an excellent film.
Does it go in my top 5? Hell. Yes.
