I'm an idiot.
This afternoon I took some stuff down to my apartment so my Monday is less hectic. Good thing I did, because the place was quite messy and disorganized. I fixed that, though. Everything is in its proper place now - I'm especially proud of how organized my closet is. With the good news, comes the bad. In all likelihood my garbage disposal is going to have to be replaced. All because of a terribly stupid mistake I made while leaving my apartment. Instead of turning on the light underneath my kitchen cabinets I turned on my garbage disposal. All of a sudden there was smoke and a distinct smell of burnt plastic filled the air. My black plastic tablespoon is no more - may it rest in peace. Hard, melted plastic now resides in the garbage disposal area. I so don't want to know how much this mess is going to cost me to fix.
