A Second Job!
Ok...
I just have to write about this. I just walked into school today and picked up a job as an afterthought. Hey, I thought, why not? And apparently so too did the person hiring me. So I came home today with a sexy seven hours a week at the premium UMass pay rate of: oops, can't tell you that, but it is totally minimum wage. Monetary concerns aside though, it is the cushiest job, located in my building, and molded to precisely to my class schedule! And I must be the most hard luck of candidates: graduating senior without work study. All I had to do was ask though, and it was given without an interview or a second thought. In fact, I suspect it was given with a sigh of relief.
Jenny and I were talking last night about how hard some people have it, and I just can't get over how luck I've been. What an awesome day!
Now, back to filling out tax deduction work sheets.
