This is a tad harder than I thought
I imagined I'd be spending all my time in my room or the library going above and beyond with my study of Japanese. What I hadn't factored into my calculations was meeting new people and going out for tea with them after classes and then on to the pub after that
So every time I go into lessons they say, "now you should have already memorized the vocab from this section of the book" and I'm like, "whaaaaaaaa....

we were singing it for the rest of the day
I did have one moment of glory in the class where we were doing 'dates'. Sensei held up a picture of a boy with a birthday cake and I yelled out, "tanjoubi omedetou!" which I knew from watching so many anime and dorama series ( . .)
