This is a tad harder than I thought 
I imagined I'd be spending all my time in my room or the library going above and beyond with my study of Japanese. What I hadn't factored into my calculations was meeting new people and going out for tea with them after classes and then on to the pub after that
So every time I go into lessons they say, "now you should have already memorized the vocab from this section of the book" and I'm like, "whaaaaaaaa....

They gave us a false sense of security in the first lesson by showing us this,
we were singing it for the rest of the day
I did have one moment of glory in the class where we were doing 'dates'. Sensei held up a picture of a boy with a birthday cake and I yelled out, "tanjoubi omedetou!" which I knew from watching so many anime and dorama series ( . .)

Also, the laundrette for the entire student halls is out of use because they had an electrical fire. It's starting to cause a slight problem...
