Barcelona/Valencia

we finally made it back to madrid this morning at 7am. i havent slept in over 36 hours. but it was woth it.

i saw everything Gaudi(the architect) in Barcelona, que guay. hiper guay. the picasso museum, gothic cathedrals, amazing shopping, the aquarium, the ocean, RIOTING(yes, burning dumpsters, police barricades, and mass chaos), smu kids drunk off absinthe (not me!), a japanese tourist with tourets, the Codorniu vineyards and cellar, mountains, and the mediterranean sea.

then in Valencia we saw fields and fields of orange groves. you wouldnt believe how beautiful the smell was, mmmm! and we went to Las Fallas, a huuuuuuge festival they have every year where they burn enormous statues all over the city that they have spent all year building, there are fireworks, markets, parades, bonfires, and thousands of people. (i got some pretty sweet pics)

apparently Bubba visited TCU and loved it. i kind of hopes he goes there.

did you know that on their self titled album the Gipsy Kings do a Spanish cover of Sinatra's My Way?? i have listened to that song so many times and never put 2 and 2 together until yesterday when i read the song title on my iPod.

things are pretty great, but man, I MISS YALL and texas.

man, this week is gonna be crazy. lots of school work. a production of Divinas Palabras. then Paris on thursday.
