summer in the city...~ the lovin' spoonful
past couple days= Eisley instore @ virgin. and Red sox/rangers game w/ HP girls. very odd.
yesterday Becky and i woke up early and went to Pilates at the ymca, it was interesting. all those old ladies and parkie moms. good times though. then mom called and told me to find a dress for my grandfather's 80th b-day party which is tonight. i found one, but had to perform surgery on the sleeves, and now it looks a little silly. praying for dim lighting...
last night B and i went to hear Aaron's band Room Four play at Standard and Pours, one of my favourite places in the whole world. it was great. and the girl who opened for them Tara Leigh Cobble had played at kamp and Konnections this past winter, so we had this huge name game, and she has helped out in the kitchen and knows Teece, Hudson, (dated doug last year...haha) and all sorts of people. It turns out that she is moving to Dallas supposedly this January. so we talked churches, etc and i said i'd be praying for her, and the next thing we are standing there with 2 S&P baristas, Phillip and Andie, who are also christians, holding hands and taking turns praying. God is funny like that.
but i made us miss Ozomatli and still feel like crap about it. so Aaron and i went back to my apt and watched SNL best of Will Ferrell. I FINALLY got to see the Robert Goolay (or however you spel it) skit!!!! Kitchies, i know yall are proud haha, ....Coconut Banger's Ball, its a rap!
Does anyone know if the rest of th FrouFrou album is any good besides "Let Go"?
