(boring entry)
yesterday was awesome. my family met up w/ the kehls at out usual spot on Preston to watch the parade. it rained,but felt so nice! there were so many cute floats, and we got tons of candy. then we all headed to Goar park for free snow cones, popcorn, etc it was nuts (i think over half of thepark cities showed up). afterwards we headed to my house for a pool party and church's chicken. we stayed in the pool probably 5 or 6 hours. mom and dad wore matching swimsuits and sang Led Zeppelin at the top of their lungs. i would pay money to see that again. Later that evening Dad made homemade vanilla ice cream and more people came over. Becky, Nat, Danielle and I went to HP village and watched the dcc's firework show in the parking lot. slumber party after that.
you know what? whenever i see something grand, such as a huge old tree, or a beautiful room, or a large piece of chocolate cake or fireworks or a Symphony i always think of Heaven. great things remind me of just how much more grand it will be when i see Christ face to face.
