A Brief Snapshot of Hypersomnia

It doesn't matter whether you get 2 hours of sleep, or 12, you always wake up feeling tired & wanting to take a nap. Often for those long periods of sleep, like 10 or 12 hours, you sometimes wake up feeling like you have an incredible hangover, even though you didn't drink the night before. You feel sick, short of breath, incredibly weak, & often headachey. You feel like curling up & dying. For awhile I thought that I just wasn't getting enough sleep, hence the reason why I would sleep for long periods of time sometimes. But I found out I was still getting as much as everyone else.
