I shouldn't have smiled so big.

In the tradition of this blog presenting alternative takes to those on my other (primary) blog, here's an alternate take on the proceedings over the weekend.

(How formal. Okay, let's get on with it.)

Saturday's graduation was, well, a big camwhore moment. We weren't allowed to bring cameras - technically, we weren't allowed to take photos during the event itself, as it was PICC's rules, not DLSU's - but eventually we had more photos than we excpected. This also meant a black market of sorts in photographs, from each other's Multiply sites, especially for those who were exceeding deviant.

But, it seems, we weren't exactly prepared. Or, we were rushing a lot of things.

As for me, well, since Mon gave me lessons on how to smile - "say A," as she said two years ago - here's how I fared, photography-wise.

Perhaps it's because we're already tired (not to mention bored) which led to us looking like this. Look at Anna, for one! Then again, my smile looks weirdly... regal.

Kat covered the flash. She almost didn't see this picture. And you might not be able to. Aside from that, my apologies for the dental close-up.

No wonder they think I'm half-Chinese.

Another example.
Courtesy of Marielle Antonio: it's bigger, but of course, I'll crop it.

Eventually I got tired of smiling unassisted, so I enlisted the help of... my camera. Oh golly, this photo makes me look like...

But... no. Oh, and my apologies for my cropping. It's high time I crop myself out - and (almost) emphasize my big nose...

I was supposed to have those camwhore moments (read: I get camera, point it at me plus someone else, press shutter) for a blog entry but didn't because, well, everybody somehow disappeared amongst the 900-strong crowd. Well, it was the best way - aside from the group photos - for me to have actual photos of my on my photo albums, but...

...and to think my father reminded me to do just that. Obviously there is such as thing as the black market.

flipsides, creative output, blushies
