Haia, sorry for the late reply ^^. To be honest, I read your reply weeks ago, but I had to think over my answer (eventhough this topic isn't tremendously important :p)

The first reply was more meant to those bashing replies here, how it's bull with the 5posts blabla rule etc, and how obnoxious poaching is (while they still download the damn file! Talk about obnoxious >.>) So the earlier post here was an attempt to make ppl understand why scanlators would integrate such a rule, and how spoilt they really are when other scanlators would give more easily access to their files. I see these restrictions more as a give and take exchange. If you aren't willing to fulfill those easy conditions, (irc isn't that hard, and posting in a forum is even easier)then you simply don't deserve that (free!) yaoi.At the moment I'm a member in several forums, and yeah, I was annoyed as hell while fulfilling their conditions, but it's a small price to pay for leeching :)

About the motives scanlators might be harbouring, well, power and control? I don't have any problems with those kind of motives, as these are quite limited to a certain area. Even if the rules are ridiculous, and would actually backfire to their prior intentions, their rules aren't hard to follow. If they decide to limit their files to those who "obey" them, then so be it. You can't force them to spread the scanlations to everyone (wait a minute, you can XD XD XD, how about "force them to be willing...") To be short, I respect their stupid rules. Why? Because I think they deserve that at least for providing awesome releases. (most of the rules anyway :p, I guess dl-ing here is already a no-no?)
On a sidenote, if the scanlations were only meant for a really select group, I'd prolly quit. Personally, I'm actually flattered when I see new downloadlinks of a project I was part in :) (yeey, they thought it was good enough to upload it again!)

Sendspace is good in the mornings here, but it sucks when one's an impatient soul ^^;. And yeah, luckily I know lots of filesharing sites, so it's allright (that or either irc).

Oh, and you must have noticed earlier, I'm not a native english-speaker, so I apologise for simple english and the slips here and there. (as long the message got thru it's all good)
