(no subject)
Just came back from seeing Hope for Agoldensummer. Imagine if there were two Carsie Blantons, except one of them played saw and clarinet and the other played xylophone, and there was this other woman who was skinny and dykey and played slide banjo, and all three of them played drums and guitar.
Also I've never before seen a xylophone played with a bow, but it sounds great.
In any case, I really, really enjoyed it and you should definitely check them out. ESPECIALLY YOU PORTLAND PEOPLE because they will be at Mississippi Pizza on the 20th. Serious. They're good.
(Also I just got Jason Webley's latest CD and it smells really good. Which, as Zack said, is a little disturbing.)
