I was so much older then......
I have come to the stunning conclusion that I was not cut out for this live journal thing.... its been what Chistmas, New Years, Valentines day, presidents day, and finally I decide to write.... all those other holidays, meaningless, but presidents day, now I feel the need to tell the world about that....
Quiet weekend, went out to see one of my new favorite bands, the Conniption Fits, they're local, and their lead singer has an awesome voice and is so boyishly cute, the kind of guy I would have had a major crush on at 16, and the guitarist is punky and kind of hot, the basist, don't remember much about him, drummer seems like kind of preppy cool.... Ive seen them a couple times now, reccomend them highly to anyone that wants to just have fun, they'll be at Shenannigans in White River Jct next weekend, now the venue is seriously lacking, but hey??? what can ya do, theres at least naked chicks next door...I think that honestly it won't be a great show, only because the local crowd there is both old and seriously freakin redneck... I'm going to see my favorite chick fronted band Saturday the 25th, Sirsy.... they are a truly talented group, kind of pop rock, but with a girl with a killer voice. They will be at Charaktors in Ludlow, VT, which is a much cooler venue, small, but much cooler, not so many country loving rednecks there I guess. Good drinks, good bartenders, young, energetic ski crowd.... should be a blast....
Back to the weekend, went to Electra, dressed like a rock star, flirted with boys.... good times, good times... I have this great top that has one of those really loose sort of hanging down necks, the ones that its only gravity holding fabric in place keeping the world just seeing the space between and not seeing boobs.... went to Denny's, ate junk food, felt good and fat. Went to Keene sunday, did a little shopping... went riding Monday, got to ride my two favorite horses, Nick and Sandor.... Sandor becuase he's easy, and very kind, Nick becuase he's big and athletic, strong, bold... not an easy ride, but totally fun...
So I guess thats about it for now.... gotta go get on the treadmill (yeah, thats another of my recent projects, kicking my own fat ass)... gotta burn like the 700 calories from dinner......
