(no subject)

I'm having a really hard time coming up with a subject for the third drawing in my body part series.
Am ill-inspired of late.

I started one of a girl drowning, where she is alive above the line of the tub water, but drowned in her own hands below it.

But no internal organs are involved in that one, and the face didn't have any feeling in it. So I trashed it.

Last night I picked up this book called The Education of an Illustrator.
It's a collection of "essays, interviews, and course syllabi" that "provides the readers with first-hand accounts from various professionals and educators who discuss how they acquired their knowledge of illustration and have successfully translated it into their careers."

My life has a little bit of structure now. This is to reiterate a few things I've written about recently:

In December I will move to Norton, VA, and work hardcore on my art portfolio.
Next year I'll spend a few months in Europe.
When I come back, I'll need two part time semesters to finish my undergrad at VCU.
Then, after getting my undergrad degree in English, I'll go to grad school for Illustration.
I want my Masters, but I don't want it in English. Lit, comp, or otherwise.
Okay, so maybe I'd want it in poetry.
Okay, so I'd really want it in poetry.
Okay, so I'll go to grad school for poetry or illustration.

At least I'm getting this narrowed down.

I can't believe four years ago I was a Music major.
or that I've wasted this much time writing this entry, when I have better things to do.
Ciao.
