Man, this is gorgeous. I love the way you portray their relationship, capturing everything that's between them, including (but not limited to) their relationship just as brothers.

God this so descriptive. I love how oppressive Sam's anger feels and the ratcheting of tension throughout the entire story. Wonderful.

I am slowly getting out of the habit of killing off characters. Which is perhaps a good thing! Though there's still tragedy, it's just for other reasons, so perhaps not.
