(no subject)
so yesterday was habitat for humanity.
7:30 meet at lhs
7:40 leave for yonkers with our whopping number of... six ...plus 3 adults
8:30 arrive to the place after driving in circles. the thing was more of a practicing thing rather than a house. which was good cuz then u didnt feel like u were gonna kill someone if u did something wrong and plus we were inside so we didnt get wet. the room we were in used to be squash court so it had a lil tiny like 3 ft door but the cieling was sooo high
9:00-12:00 did various things. first we took wood off a shelf. then moved the shelf. then loaded it back on. then we measured and cut (as in with a saw! no not a chainsaw *tear*) pieces of wood for the door frame. that came out well. then helped put the 2nd wall up. then we started the work bench. that was one complex bench. it could hold like a ton. well not really
12:00-1:00 had lunch which was insanely funny. ms. nigro: *pulls out huge bag of food* "lets see what i brought for lunch... sandwhich, cookies, chips, and... so what if i brought a lot!" mrs ganz: "do you have napkins?" N: "yes i do!!!" G: i bet u have those whipy things too!" N: "yep!!! here ill give u one" ...sry i guess u had to be there. the vending machine said "use at your own risk" that was funny too. we had a long conversation about bottled water an automatic paper towell dispensers. haha dont ask. JUST COME NEXT TIME...SEE BOTTOM!
1:00-2:30 cleaned up the room. finished the work bench then we all signed it denoia wrote "at last. we are better than panas!" sry that was funny. then we wrote lakeland rocks my socks haha and ms. nigro drew a smiley face haha people are gonna be like wth? when they see it
so that was fun. more people need to come tho! if u wanna do it listen for announcements and such. its good for college... unless u wanna stay in yorktown. but idk why u would do that.theres a walkathon in like two weeks and then the next build is probably gonna be june 5th!
so today i just gotta study then we are going to the putnam animal hospital thing cuz we are friends with one of the vets
then.... CONCERT AT THE CHANCE! WOOOO
my cleaning lady called my dog "gorda" (fat) so now i call her gordita
