(no subject)
Well, I woke up this morning freaking out that Christmas is 5 weeks away and I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. Every year I make a pact with myself that I am going to start early, have everything done at least two weeks before Christmas (and that includes wrapping which I HATE) but every year, one thing gets in the way of another and I don't get anywhere near shopping until the beginning of December (if I even start that early). This is a problem, because while I love shopping, I HATE crowds. Department Stores? Ugh, I'll break out in hives if I enter one. And the thought of spending an hour in the parking lot of a mall looking for a spot then having to push my way through swarms of people while carrying hand fulls of bags makes me sick to my stomach. Thank God for the invention of online shopping. Anyway, to ease some of my "I-haven't-started-Christmas-shopping" stress I decided to go through my own wish list of things I'd love to get for Christmas. I know I probably won't get much if any of this stuff but it's fun to dream right? So without any further ado -
MY CHRISTMAS LIST:
A DVD player..doesn't matter which brand or what color or anything like that. The one I currently have has been with me since college and a month or so ago it finally broke down. I've been watching all my movies on my portable DVD player which is a pain.
I've been a fan of Felicity since it was airing on TV. Ah the love triangle between our heroine and Ben and Noel goes down in the books as one of my favorites. I can't get enough, I'd love to finally own the entire series on DVD.
I love to travel and I especially find myself taking a ton of weekend trips, whether it's to Boston to visit friends or to Philly or DC or even just upstate to spend a weekend with my cousins. I seem to have tons of travel bags but they usually range either on the small side or on the large size. I have nothing in the middle, for a night or two away. That's why I'd love a bag like the one above. LeSportSac has awesome patterns and a range of sizes so I'd love to get one of those. I'd perfer it in PolkaDots but I don't see it on their website.
and of course, you can never go wrong with gift cards!! Barnes and Noble so I can buy books! Forever 21, NY&Co., Old Navy, Gap - I always need new clothes. Itunes for my music needs. Target where I never spend less than $50 in a trip. Any of these would be great and appriciated.
So, that's pretty much my Xmas list this year....Now for fun I thought I'd add a few things that I would LOVE but I know there is no way I'll actually get for Christmas haha.
My laptop is on it's last legs and I desperately need a new one. I'd love if Santa dropped a new MacBook under my tree!
I've been dying for a high tech digital camera like the one above for years. Photography is something I've been trying to get into more but my little point and shoot just doens't get the job done.
And of course....
Him...always...100% of the time. <3
One last thing before I go...found out John left New York yesterday and hopped his cute little self over to LA. This makes me sad, Manhattan feels a little empty without him here. I miss him already :( Come back soon.
A picture of JM at LAX yesterday. Dude still needs to shave but I heart him anyway. (PS: There is video of him at LAX floating around. It's paparazzi shot. They throw out questions about Taylor etc and he stays completely silent, looking a bit annoyed. I don't feel comfortable posting it here so I won't but it's out there if you look for it.)
