01 We Are Scientists - Hoppipolla
Absolutely beautiful!
Well, okay, its actually a Sigur Ros cover but thats what makes it even better does it? Don't think its that easy to cover but I think they did really awesome. I had no idea what they were singing (at first) but I guess that's the beauty of it being in a foreign language (Icelandic, to be exact) - its truly intriguing/captivating.
02 Sondre Lerche - Things You Call Fate
Its the lyrics. Its too good! I don't know how he does it, really.
And I quite like the guitars/music through the end and the way he says things you call faaattee haha.
03 The Perishers - Weekends
Amazing song, albeit a little depressing (maybe).
I don't think any amount of words I say can fully describe how awesome this song is. It gives you all sorts of hope and who doesn't like that?
Beautiful lyrics, definitely one of my favourites and you know why .:E
04 Bell X1 - Next To You
First song I heard from Bell X1 and I really really like it!
The drums, the lyrics, just fits really well.
05 Pelle Carlberg - Clever Girls Like Clever Boys Much More Than Clever Boys Like Clever Girls
Definitely one of my favourites at the moment.
Its just so infectious and catchy, I bet you'll find yourself singing along too haha and come on, you know the lyrics pretty much rings true too.
06 The Filthy Youth - Le Soleil
Wow, what can I say? They're like The Libertines reborned, serious shit!
You can say they rip off The Libertines or whatever but gosh, I guess its good to sound like them? I think its a huge compliment and its just pretty good. Classic The Libertines right here, what with the guitar riffs and the singing and all.
Pretty awesome.
07 The Kills - M.E.X.I.C.O.C.U
So addictive! One of my favourites from Midnight Boom.
It's one of those songs, its short but it works in a way that it plays, does its magic and then suddenly its already another song and then you start to go back, until you're really satisfied haha.
Go refuservice, lightloving, evestarlight, leenielou, pinpops and everybody else haha.
Flag Day today and I'm.. not there hahahahahaa what the fuck, crazy shit, I haven't slept a wink since I woke up today (was out, tv, online, footie, online) and I have to be at Simei (which is like almost an hour away from my place) by 0700hrs and then we'll have to carry a tin and just stand around till 1400hrs (thats 7 hours) asking strangers for money.
As far as I know, I'm down with, umm, diarrhoea, hmm yeah, thats right.
