This weekend was great. Friday nights show went well. Friday nights party was much fun. Didn't have to sleep on a futon or the floor Fri., got a real bed instead (most excellent).
Sat. RenFest! Much fun as always. We did our usual viewings of Fight School, the jousting, the human chess match, the Pyrates Royal, and looking in the shops. I bought a CD which i shouldn't have, but i'm glad i did. It's a fun cd. The Rogues. (www.therogues.com) Sig took lots of good pictures so if you want to see them ask me for the website on aim or something. (I can't remember the website at the moment.) After RenFest I had a headache so i went back to my apt. instead of hanging out with everyone. My headache was gone a little while later and i went to the mall with Shannon and Erin. Erin was looking to fix her nails, and I returned my non-working video games. They had another Timesplitters, but not a Final Fantasy X, so i got Ninja Turtles instead. It's an ok game, but they should have made the saving mechanism better. I'll have to find another FF though, so that i can finally finish that game. I also need to get street fighter. Possibly some other fighty games too.
Sunday. I haven't been to a horse show in forever. I miss seeing this stuff. We had sponsor tickets for this show that one of the parents at my sis's farm got us. Basically, Mercedes-Benz paid for me to go to this horse show, have lunch, have my picture taken and developed for free with my friends. It was great fun. Then i went shopping again ... i've gotta stop doing this when i don't have money. The stuff i got is awesome though. In fact i'm wearing some of it right now.
Work. I'm getting a raise next paycheck! Will be excellent for being able to pay bills and still do the things that i want to do. Of course that raise means doing more work, but it's ok because it will be more interesting work. So now i'm an event planner in training and after this conference season we will evaluate my situation and decide if i'm going to become an event planner, or something else. If i do become an event planner than i'll become salaried which is would be nice. Now i need to get back to that.
