The Sun King

Louis IV, the Sun King, ruled France from 1638-1715. Thats a long time to be king. His turn at being King was much more satisfying (for him) than the experience of Louis VI, who got a turn at the guillotine (I know, likely spelled wrong) near the end of that century. One of the perks of being king was getting to have lots and lots of girlfriends. And it sounds like Louis had his share. There is a new book out about his women. Seems like it would be a tough book to write at this point, but someone did it.

Another more contemporary Louis IV is the band. If you havent heard them you should search out and listen to "Finding Out True Love is Blind", especially if you are into miss little smart girl with her glasses and her books!
