one two step
Okay, today was my first day of the college spring 2005 semester... and i really wasn't prepared at all...
I'm mad with myself right now.. i need to do the following..
-Go to the bank.. to cash my checks of course
-Buy all my books.. 300 for used.. 400 for new.. or less if i pay online.
-Buy notebooks
-Get a haircut.. or leave it long? cuz girls like it long?
-Buy a new Jacket and Backpack.. my Backpack is so old..
-Get started on all my reading assignments.. i have a shit load. heh
The following i got done...
-Got to school on time.. very surprising cuz the roads sucked badly.
-Used my warantee and got a new battery. Old battery was completely dead according to Sears.
-Got gas.. cuz a car needs to have more than half a tank of gas to survive out there.
Now about my day.. i woke up at 8am and ate some oatmeal. Took the new battery from the basement and hooked it up to my car and drove to school.. the roads weren't too bad on the highway. But the roads were really bad in my town and in New Britain. For any of those new drivers out there, it's very dangerous to be bumper to bumper with another car on the road during cold weather conditions. Stupid asses kept driving their piece of shizit cars upagainst my car.. i'd flick them off.. but i'm a nice guy. I usually just switch lanes so they can cause an accident elsewhere. But anyway, i got to school.. found a parking spot in the garage on the 4th floor. Then my first class was Management.. the professor was already starting before 10 o'clock.. but what the hey. We watched a video about the first existence of mankind. He was showing us how WORK is what makes resources.. and we learned that using our brains will get us a lot farther cuz just look at the chinese and japanese.. they got better stuff cuz they used their heads. The teacher called on me.. to answer one of the questions.. i'm really not much of a talker in school.. especially on the first day. But i got the answer correct and that's all that matters. Anyway, after that i ate my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.. went to the book store to check out prices for books. Then sat at a table alone cuz i didn't know anybody.. =( so then after that i went to the computer lab to see if i could get a head start on some homework assignment.. but i could not because i need the PIN number inside of the books i need to purchase.. so then i went somewhere and then i had my Economics class.. it was the usual though.. we all introduced ourselves... i was like.. "hi I'm Vincent Borrmann.. south windsor (the worst town ever).. and my major is Management Information Systems." i was so nervous that i kind of sort of couldn't really say my major all that well.. but what the shit.. it is only the first day. After that i got home.. weight lifted at home and not the gym just cuz i don't want to be stuck at the gym with my car that i have no confidence in on how it will start or not. I really have no confidence in anything with a car i have no confidence in in terms of it starting during this cold cold cold weather.. cold weather really makes a person depressed.. somehow i need to find a way to change that but i am not sure how i can do that.. =( anyway, i just made a cake for my father cuz it's his b-day.. and now i'm going to go upstairs and finish the rest of my weight lifting upstairs... biceps.. yey!
