Don't stick a fork in the boy just yet. Despite the death-knell for David Cook that most (including myself) declared last night, DialIdol.com showed that the call volume was almost 40% higher for Cook than Archuleta. Well, to be fair, it's really his father that creeps me out, I think. But his plastic, hollowed-out stiffness doesn't help!

And yay for sanity reigning. I couldn't believe they let David A. get away with resinging "Imagine" as his final song, but maybe it went to show how much David C. tried to do new things, show some breadth, and not stick to just one tried-and-true. And he's not creepy.
