In which there is a "no boys" rule.

The area around her was a no boys zone.

It had been from the minute she'd gotten the call from Anna that she wanted a vacation, away, somewhere else where she wouldn't have to think about men for a while. Amy, in the beginning was happy to agree to this. The boys in LA were getting on her nerves, and she just wanted some time to herself where she didn't have to put the extra effort into looking pretty. It was a logical one, at that, because despite the fact they were going to the beach, where hot men would abound, Anna was putting off a "So not in the mood" air that gave them a radius of twenty miles that men just wouldn't bother.

Anna was not with her now, inside the grocery store, however.

But that didn't matter, because Amy wasn't even putting in the effort. She couldn't remember the last time she'd walked out of the house in no make-up and a messy ponytail, but it was actually kind of liberating. She wasn't looking to impress, and more to the point, she didn't care. She was just down there to have some fun with a friend. She wasn't out for a date. She wasn't out to flirt, or have a one night stand, or anything of the like. She was just looking to find a magazine that she wasn't in to read on the beach, grab a few essential drive down snacks, before meeting Anna outside and continuing on their way. Easy as that.

She definitely wasn't oggling the ass of the guy the next line over.

Nope. Nope, nope, nope.

Though it was a very nice one.

Her eyes darted back to the magazine rack in front of her behind her sunglasses, and she gave a heavy sigh as that magazine was a bust as well. People needed to stop using the same advertisement for the same product in every single magazine.

Or at least stop using her face for it.
