Has anyone on my flist ever noticed their significant other's body odor alter significantly (from whatever's normal) when the siggy other is in extreme pain or illness?

Reason I ask is that since Brett's shoulder began hurting him again, I've noticed he smells different. If I possessed the intellectual prowess of a cat, then I'd probably hiss at this strange Brett.
