Good news! This morning the swelling on Xbox's paw has gone down! Her nose is now longer raw pink. She's much more lively, and has been exploring a little bit. I've locked up the house and left the patio hutch sliding glass door open so that she can venture in and run back out to hide when she feels threatened. (The scariest thing around right now is Seth.)
Brett was awake most of the night with bad shoulder pain. He woke me up to keep his misery company. This ongoing saga of shoulder pain is inexplicable, since a shoulder should either be dislocated, or not. He's talked with Dr. Taylor this morning, and the doc is trying to get a rush put on the Xrays that were taken on Monday. I ordered Brett's brace yesterday, but it probably won't get here till Saturday or Monday.
My inclination is to cancel the Marine World trip tomorrow. Brett wants to soldier on, but I can't see going if he's going to be miserable the whole time.
I'm working on my book today, and working out. Standard laundry folding and dish washing too. Need to take in my can recycling and get cash from the atm.
Sean tells me that two of the three kids from his school that were invited and attending the party. But not one of their parents has called to RSVP. Why are people so thoughtless?
