Darwin Fest Prompt Post
The verdict is in - it sounds like you guys want to celebrate Ensign Darwin as much as I do! We'll be hosting a good old fashioned prompt-and-claim fest. For those of you who haven't participated in one of those in this comm before, here's how it works. I've included the posting procedures for all you Type A advanced planners out there.
- Anyone can prompt, even if you don't plan to write.
- Leave as many prompts as you like, but only one per comment.
- Het, gen, and femslash are all welcome, so long as Ensign Darwin remains the focus.
- Claiming will commence in one week. Claims are exclusive and first come, first served.
- Initially, you may claim only one prompt. After the claiming post has been up for three days, you may come back for a second one if you like. .
- Fills can be fic or art. Fic must be at least 1000 words. .
- Posting will occur between July 15 and August 1. You may sign up for a specific posting day at the claims post.
- Please make every effort to post on your assigned date. However, Sunday will be Shit Happens Day, where you may post your story if you miss your deadline, if you're under the word limit, or you never signed up for the fest but you wrote a story about an unclaimed prompt anyway.
- When posting, please include your original prompt somewhere in your story header. You may post directly to the comm or link from your personal journal, DW, AO3, etc. etc.
