Not long after Darla left, or disappeared rather, I reluctantly headed back to my room to be alone. The moment I opened the door I was hit with the reminder of why I'd tried to stay out of here lately. The room was still a mess and things strewn everywhere. Letting out a worthless sigh, I entered the room and shut the door behind me. I must've

My eyes darted between Gunn and Fred as he mentioned the Darla incident from earlier when they all thought I was.. not right. She'd told him about that? Sighing, I sat down on the bed and glanced away. More explaining.
Fred looked over at me. "Angel, I'm no one to look down on someone for being a little on the crazy side of things. God knows I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and attended the reunion but.. you were talking to her like she was right there. No one saw her. She wasn't there.. right?"
I had to admit that I was a little surprised that they didn't seem to think that it was possible for Darla to have been there. This was Los Angeles, this was the Hyperion, and this was us we were talking about. We dealt with this type of thing on a regular basis. Ghosts, demons, higher powers who wanted to take over the world..why was it such a big surprise that Darla was back.. again.
"She was there. I know it sounds crazy.. but she was. She said Wolfram and Hart brought her back. Because hey, that's a new one. But she said something else. Something that," I looked at Fred. "That I'd already heard once before from our friendly visitors."
They both looked at me waiting for an answer. Leaning forward, resting my elbows on my knees, I glanced down. "I think they brought back Cordelia."
"Cordelia?" Fred asked almost hesitantly and nervously. "Are you sure?"
I looked back up at the two of them and shook my head. "No, I'm not sure. But Darla said there were others. People I cared for and Wolfram and Hart thought that might work better than any of the 'other' plans they have used in the past."

"Now we all know I dont trust what Darla says but if She says they brought back Cordy, I say we go investigate." Standing up, I looked at Angel. "Then maybe we could get this place back to the way it was before all this Jasmine crap."
Shifting my weight to my other foot, I glanced at Fred before looking back at Angel. "Others? The only other person is.." I lowered my head before finishing. "Connor." Good god. If Barbie and him were stuck together, I bet she was just ready to rip her hair out.

She shook her head. "No, they just left a number and address then left. One of them.. one of Cordy's cousins stayed though I think. The last I knew he was still with Dawn."
I nodded and stood. "An address? Good. Even though I'd rather not, it's probably a good idea if I went over and talked with some of them." Hopefully, Cordelia's other cousin - the pencil happy slayer - wouldn't be there so I wouldn't have to deal with someone who really wanted me dead.
"It's probably best if we know everything we can about this before we go storming the halls of Wolfram and Hart." No matter how much I'd rather bust through those doors and see if they had brought back Cordy.. and Connor.
Looking back to Gunn, I nodded. "Maybe. Darla didn't say, but I wouldn't be surprised." I turned back to Fred. "Maybe you should stay here just in case one of them comes by again. Gunn you can come if you want with me to check things out, but if you'd rather you can stay here at the hotel. It's your choice."
Fred nodded and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Okay, Angel. But be careful alright? We still don't know if we can trust these people."
Nodding, I started to head out of the door but waited to see if Gunn was going to stay or come with me to visit the people who like guns a little too much.

Leaving her in the room, I walked down the stairs and went straight to the counter. I took a bottle of pain killers from under the counter. Taking two, I looked over at Angel. "We packing weapons tonight?" I was ready to grab my axe again. "If you ask me, I say we bring them. Incase Cordy's cousins decide to go crazy since it is the same family.."

I left the room and headed downstairs to the lobby to wait for Gunn. He didn’t look like he needed to be doing much fighting for a day at least, so I hoped the people we were about to pay a visit didn’t get any ideas.
Looking over at him when he asked about the weapons, I thought about it for a moment then shook my head. “No, no weapons. They already don’t trust us.” And I didn’t want that cousin of Cordy’s to have an itch to slay a vampire when I walked into the room. “Take some stakes or a crossbow maybe, but nothing too heavy.”
He gave me a questionable look then shrugged and nodded. We grabbed a few stakes and Gunn went ahead and took one of the crossbows. Once we had everything, I grabbed the card they’d left earlier then we headed outside.
This could be interesting.
