retreat
On Wednesday we went to school and brought all our stuff to leave for retreat. We had chapel and then PRon had a little meeting thing with everyone and told us to take everything outta our bags that we shouldn’t have. Then we finished the day and met in the gym again. Someone got caught have like 12 little bottles of booze so we got this big talk from Wenger which was no fun. Then we had to get our carry-ons checked by wenger and everybody. We finally got on the bus. I sat with Shelby for a while and we talked to Dummann. Then I went in the back and sat with DJ for a while which was cool. Talked to him and chris D lol *foreign exchange student* lol. We finally got there after the bus got lost and shit lol. then we got out and got our cabins. I was with Chelsea L and R, Shelly, Eden, Shelby, Jess, Emily S, Catie, and Kristina. We went and had pizza for dinner ( NJ pizza=nasty) and then went into our groups. Then played on the playground for a little while until curfew. Got up around 7:30 breakfast at 8. It was like pancakes or something but it was good. Then my group and Nick P’s group did the rock wall. It was aight. I got most of the way up and the thing I wanted to use moved so I got pissed bec I couldn’t use that to get up and it was basically the one I needed but w/e so I got up the fuckin wall lol. after that we went to the swing which was bout ..idk 30 feet up maybe? And u got harnessed up and ur team pulled u up and then u pulled a chord and u flew. That was pretty freaky but it was fun. Then we had lunch and then this “get to know ur team” thing which was kinda gay but was a little bit of fun I guess. We got to piss this girl Kelly off which was great. Then we went and had the Vertical playpen which was crazy. It was a rope ladder then a “giant ladder” which were big steps like one came up to like ur bellybutton the next was at ur chest-ish and then climbin up woodblocks/tires. DJ was like insane on that thing. he seriously made it look easy. After that we had dinner and then hung out. We had this HUGE party of Apples to Apples goin which was soo much fun. It was crazy there were soo many people playing but it was a blast. Then we went to our rooms around 11. Apparently there was a party outside me cabin but I wasn’t there lol. Then we all went to bed or w/e and in the morning we packed out shit and went to breakfast. Then we could do 1 activity so I did the pole which was probably 20 feet tall and then u had to jump off of it. That was pretty cool. I was buggin but me and Kristen and Nick were together. Then we went home and that was pretty much the end of it lol
